but if you have other color suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them. I'm planning on doing the grey section of the pickguards in a metallic nickel paint, then doing a layer so the rest is black gloss to make it look a little less gigantic. Each of the 2 Godin single-coil pickups is wired to its own volume control to make tweaking your tone that much easier. I came up with a few designs, but I don't know which is the best, so please let me know your opinions. I stripped the paint/mirror sticker and polished the relatively-clear plexi, and I think it would look cool with a painted pickguard on the back side. The one I picked up originally had a mirror pickguard, but the previous owner had tried to paint it and scratched up the mirrored adhesive on the back. Kind of like a danelectro, I guess - and it has some interesting pickups, and actually sounds pretty cool. For those who don't know, it's a pretty interesting guitar: kind of a telecaster shape, but routed so it's got a huge chamber which is covered by an enormous pickguard (see images, courtesy of the internet, below). I got a Godin Radiator in a trade a while back.
